No MP3 today as Something is wrong with my microphone. I did the show fine but the opening music I play completely drown out the first couple minutes which normally wouldn't be an issue except I started talking about my main topic and most of the core of what I wanted to talk about got drown out. So with no way to fix it that's cuts that out today :/
My main thoughts were of the chatter about Obama not including women in his sports stuff, the line of course being that they are completely capable of going toe to toe with him. That may very well be and hey good idea for a political even of politician basketball? It sounds stupid but wouldn't it be interesting to see them as people instead of politicians for a moment?
Back on track, and I know someone will honk about this and no I don't mean to start a argument, This sounds to me like nothing on Barak and sports but Men vs Women. "OH look, he won't invite us to go relax with him, just other guys". Yeah? Sorry but if I was going to get a break I would probably have an easier time distancing myself from people I'm around a lot too. That's honestly all he can be accused of doing.
And let's go one further. Alright lets let them in on his time. Does that mean he gets to go sit in on their time to themselves? Lets say the ladies mentioned have their own get together, shouldn't Obama be involved to since there are no men represented? Of course not, that's their time.
All it is is his time. He is being gawked at by the entire world and being dissected for everything, let the man enjoy his time.
Second is a review of the 2007 remake of The Wizard of Gore. Now before you go dismissing it for the title hold up a moment. Yes, there is blood in this movie, the title should have that be pretty obvious, but its also very deceiving.
The story is about Edmund (Played by Kip Pardue) who goes to see a show of Montag the Magnificent (Played wonderfully by Crispin Glover), a magician who's illusions supposedly kill the person brought on stage only for them to be fine at the end.
The kicker is later on the people seem to die in the same manner, none of this is ever seen just referred to. Three Suicide Girls play the parts of the victims and other actors like Jeffery Combs and Brad Dourif have crucial roles in the film, though not always apparent.
The "Gore" is about 5 minutes of the film, the rest being a puzzle on how all the thing are connected. Its well done in how it works itself out I think so if your looking for a sort of horror noir film then give it a shot.
